Day 5 of the 5 days of holiday grief is here!
For the last episode of this mini-series, I want to talk about the balance of grief and gratitude around the holidays. And, explore the question of whether these two things can even co-exist.
So many of us struggle with these contradictory emotions of grief and gratitude during the holiday season. And let’s be real, it can feel like gratitude, joy, and merriment aren’t even on our radar. Perhaps we’re still harboring some anger or resentment or hurt. Maybe it’s complicated feelings from years ago and you’re still struggling—because that is the reality of grief. So, let’s talk about how to navigate this very emotionally charged and complex time of year.
